Dan Davenport has been named senior vice president of global operations. My co-founder, who had been vice president of operations, will continue to have responsibility for the company’s finance, operations and service delivery teams, but additionally will lead the company’s international expansion – a rapidly growing segment for the company given its success with Fortune 1000 customers.
By helping corporations successfully transition talent, we’ve set a new standard for results, and we have new products in the works that will help corporations better retain and grow their talent.
Karen Stevens has been promoted to vice president of practice strategy. In this new position, Karen will play a critical role in the development of RiseSmart’s enterprise HR solutions. Karen, formerly director of client services, now will lead the team responsible for methodology development in all of RiseSmart’s practice areas, ensuring that we continue to lead the industry with the most current and best-of-breed human capital management practices. Additionally, Karen’s team will continue to develop best practices for HR leaders as they tackle career management and career transition challenges for their employees.
Joshua Barlow, formerly director of operations, is now vice president of U.S. operations at RiseSmart. In this new role Joshua will continue to grow RiseSmart’s business by continuously driving effectiveness, solution excellence, and customer satisfaction rates through process improvements and team building as well as new capabilities, tools and products. With an expansive, senior-level background in professional services delivery, Joshua combines technical, business and client-facing skills to understand and meet the changing needs of companies nationwide. He will drive change and continue making innovation and quality the cornerstone of RiseSmart.
Former UpMo Vice President of Product Rob Garcia has been named vice president of products at RiseSmart. As an innovator with a proven track record of building disruptive products from the ground up, Rob will set and drive the product agenda for the company as we pursue an aggressive 2013 product plan. In this new role Rob will continue proving RiseSmart’s value as the most innovative and results-oriented HR solutions provider that enables HR professionals to help their employees with their career strategies throughout their entire career management lifecycle.
